Taba-J is a Mauritian institution that refers to a small grocery store where you can find anything.Taba-J is an authentic little hut serving tasty Mauritian street food at the 4* Zilwa Attitude hotel.
With your feet in the sand, you can taste rotis, faratas, and dholl puris topped with ‘cari zordi,’ the day’s spicy and flavorful curry. A must-see gourmet stopover!

Roshan, aka Mr Juice, has created many tasty concoctions since opening his first Juice kiosk in Port Louis over 20 years ago, always using local, seasonal fruit and vegetables grown by himself and local farmers: pineapple, bananas, ginger, carrot…
Today, try his inventive flavors at our new Juice Bar, such as “Morning Kick,” “Nectar Dream,” or “Lychee on the Cake,” among many others, to brighten your day.

Our two signature flavors, Cardamom-Vanilla and Passion Fruit-Mango-Vanilla, are not to be missed, and are produced by Corson, a family business with the Made in Moris label, just like us. They are, of course, served in upcycled tea glasses.

Zilwa solely provides non-motorized water sports, such as kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, lasers (small sailboats), pedal boats, and windsurfing gear, in contrast to many expensive resorts (all free). Water skiers might be dissatisfied, but this rule is in place to safeguard the lagoon.
The famous dodo costumed as a friendly pirate, “Ayo The Dodo,” is waiting for your kids at the little club on its boat immediately outside the gate or will go on a treasure hunt with them on Crusoe’s island.
Children between the ages of 3 and 12 are kept occupied, having fun, and being creative at the mini club under the supervision of knowledgeable and devoted Family Members, much to their great satisfaction. Along with many other things:

Babysitting: On request, the hotel also provides day and evening babysitting at an additional cost. Reservations must be made at the reception desk or the mini club 24 hours in advance.
